The Ukrainian Society of Hong Kong is a non-profitable organization registered in Hong Kong, managed and supported by Ukrainian diaspora living in Hong Kong.

We condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine and demand for an immediate cessation to this illegal war which violates our sovereignty, kills our citizenry, and destroys our infrastructure. We stand by our country, our president and our people at this dangerous moment for Ukraine, and other nations threatened by Russia.

Thousands of civilians (including children) have been brutally killed, injured, brutalized, starved and terrorized, and the number of dead continues to grow by the day; millions of Ukrainian women and children have been forced to flee their homes; critical civilian infrastructure (hospitals, schools, roads, bridges, industrial buildings and utilities) have been destroyed. The humanitarian crisis in major cities intensifies by the day, with indiscriminate bombardment and attacks on relief convoys preventing critical food and medicine being provided to people in need.

Our Society liaises directly with Volunteering Funds in Ukraine who are working on the ground (more about the Volunteering Funds we work with can be found on our Official Facebook page). We know these volunteers personally or through friends and relatives, and trust the Volunteering Funds they represent. All contributions go directly to Ukraine. Regular reporting on our official Facebook page shows how contributed money has been utilised.
